Have you messed up yet today? Did you wake up grumpy? What about yesterday? Were you short with someone or rude to a customer service rep? We all have those moments we mess up. This weekend I wasn’t paying attention and ran a red light! So what are we supposed to do with this scripture from Matthew 5, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
That sounds impossible! Does Jesus mean we are supposed to live without sin, or does he mean something else? This Sunday we continue our series on the Kingdom as we follow the sermon on the mount.
